William Faulkner’s Grave
William Faulkner’s grave in Oxford, Mississippi. Photo taken in 1996 with my Yashica-Mat LM. “My mother is a fish.” That’s a memorable line from his novel As I Lay Dying, which I read for a high school English class.
A dead church in Mississippi
I found this decaying chapel in rural Mississippi in 1996 with my Yashica-Mat LM. At the time, I felt it said a lot about rural Mississippi. It probably still does.
