Habitat Sunset

Sunset @ 4:30 pm today. #nofilter. My dog Luke and I were walking on the western end of Pawnee Pass when we saw the sky. You can see the construction materials in the foreground. Three Habitat for Humanity homes are being built in a row. That area has a number of homes built by Habitat for Humanity.

I live in an economically diverse area. If you draw a circle around my house with a one-mile radius, you encompass multi-million dollar homes of former UW football coaches on one side and moderate and lower income housing on the other. I’m somewhere in the middle of those two boundaries — both geographically and economically.

But mostly, I find a lot to like about all of my neighbors. Having Luke has helped me meet far more of them than I would have otherwise. The warm glow in the sky reflects the radiance of the warm-hearted people in my life.

tl;dr: pretty sunset, get a dog.
