100+ people showed up for the NAMIWalks Kickoff Luncheon at Blackhawk Country Club in Shorewood Hills, WI, last week. Everyone is now fired up to raise money to overcome mental illness! Last year, we raised over $310,000, which was 3rd best nationally out of over 125 events. We’re up there with some of the biggest metropolitan cities in the country. We punch above our weight, for sure.
This will be my 12th year photographing the walk and serving on the walk organizing committee. I always have a blast photographing events for NAMI Dane County!
